Construct an essay using the following prompts. All essays must be typed and single-spaced in 12pt Times New Roman font. I will not accept handwritten essays.Please use your literature book, notes, and written assignments to help you.

Transcendentalism

Directions: Write one paragraph summarizing the major tenets/themes/beliefs of the Transcendentalists.You may use the notes I gave you on Transcendentalism to help you; however, it is important that you are able to summarize the major themes of transcendentalism in your own words.Write an additional paragraph in which you compare/contrast Transcendentalism with Romanticism.Write a third paragraph in which you reflect on what makes the beliefs of the Transcendentalists “American.”You will want to include in your final paragraph how you see the beliefs of the Transcendentalists reflected in American values and beliefs today.You may also include notable figures in American history who embody the beliefs of the Transcendentalists.
